What is MyHealthReport.info?
MyHealthReport.info is a companion website to the main dental utility site MyDentalETC.com. The Health Report site is a patient-friendly website which provides informative and motivational health information content. It also contains the patient reports and photographic images that are acquired and produced during the dental exam office visit, placed here for secure patient viewing.
What are the advantages of online software?

As computer speeds increase and internet bandwidth (access) increases and becomes more widely available, Web-Based or Online Software is the new trend in software applications. There are some obvious disadvantages, but with faster internet access the advantages now far outweigh them – especially for these kinds of applications.

What are protocols?
Protocols are special sets of tasks and procedures that are performed or followed in delivering care within a clinical setting. Usually this implies that there is a set of procedures that are repetitive in nature and which when routinely followed generally predict successful and proven outcomes. As such, they create structure and organization within the clinical and administrative healthcare settings and allow for a disciplined and predictable approach.
Can I build my own customized treatment protocols?
Yes! The Protocol Set Up feature allows you to set up and customize your own clinical and treatment protocols. Treatment protocols can be set up ahead of time for the routine and repetitive clinical tasks you perform. You can also edit/modify or build them at the moment you need them.
Can I customize a specific protocol for just one patient?
Yes! After completing the patient exam, but prior to printing the protocol, you can customize or “modify-on-the-fly” the patient protocol for an individual patient without having to reset the master protocols (in Protocol Set Up).
How does DentalETC guard against Protocol Drift or Collapse?
Protocol Collapse or Drift happens when dentists and dental teams become lax in their application and execution of specific treatment procedures. This is often seen in the area of providing advanced periodontal therapy services. DentalETC prevents this by setting up a consistent methodology to be followed within the office and disciplining all team members to follow the prescribed treatment pathways established within the dental practice.
What are Risk Assessment Calculators?
Risk Assessment Calculators are marketing and educational devices. Various calculators represent different health and dental subjects. Each survey reviews important risk factors and provides a result which indicates the degree of negative impact these risk factors and conditions can have on one’s health. Each calculator result also guides the survey taker to further information and to take action by making an appointment.
How I can I set up a Risk Assessment Calculator link on my practice website homepage?
It’s easy to set up a link from your practice website to your branded Health Report patient website. Simply follow the instructions found in the Member Admin section by clicking on the Member Admin tab after logging into your MyDentalETC home page. You will need the email address of your webmaster.
How to Risk Assessment Calculators help build my practice?
Links on your practice website home page direct website visitors and prospective patients to your health risk calculators. These surveys educate and motivate people.
Can I use DentalETC for short consultations as well as for full exams?
Yes!
What kind of patient-related content can I upload to MyHealthReport.info website?
You can upload the patient reports created during your dental or hygiene exam, along with photographic images and videos taken of your patient (Coming Soon). These will be posted on your customized microsite, MyHealthReport.info, available for patient viewing with a secure login.
How will my patients access their reports and images?
During the DentalETC exam, a username and password will be generated and printed for the patient. This will allow them to enter their private and secure page of the website which contains their reports and information.
What is Dynamic Content?
Dynamic Content is the content and reports on the Health Report site that pertains specifically to the clinical conditions and risk-factors identified during the DentalETC exam. This specific sub-set of information is recommended to your patient to guide them first to learn more about those things which relate to their conditions. It’s like having a personalized concierge guide them to the most important information they should know!
Am I free to market my branded Health Report website within my community?
Yes!
What if I don't want certain information or reports to appear on my Health Report website?
No Problem! In the Member Admin tab you can select or de-select the specific Risk Assessment Calculators you want, as well as the categories of reports available. For example, if you don’t provide denture services, or make oral appliances for sleep apnea, simply de-select these from your list. All related information and reports will be removed from your site.
What is the dentist locator feature?
Prospective patients using internet search engines and who find the health risk calculators on the generic Health Report site will be able to find you through the dentist locator feature.

What if there are other dentists in my area wanting to market to physicians?
Because we live in a free-market economy we can’t constrain or prohibit other dentists from wanting to work with physicians or other allied healthcare professionals. It is possible that you may discover that other dentists have figured out the same idea, and that they also want referrals from physicians. It is important to remember that there are more than enough patients to go around. All you should realistically expect is to have one, two, maybe three (or more?) physicians sending you a few patients every now and then. When you start out, your first goal is for one. Then two! The point of the entire process is to position yourself as a knowledgeable professional who can help them. Those that do this best, and have a bit of charisma and personality to what they offer, will have the advantage.
If there are other dentists using the MDReferrals system, how do I make myself different?

How many referrals should I realistically expect to get from medical doctors?
It is not possible to answer this question since everybody has a different expectation of what is realistic! The main point here is that while getting referrals is wonderful, the goal is to position yourself in the marketplace. There is a specific and proven strategy to accomplish this as outlined in The Physicians Marketing Handbook. Because your goal is to be included in the referral networks of your chosen physicians, you must realize it takes a certain amount of time for this to happen, if it will happen at all. Be flexible with the process and be ready to add or change your list. Getting referrals is a calculated process, not an event.
What purpose does the FaxDrip Newsletter serve?

The FaxDrip newsletter is at the heart of the ongoing communication process that keeps you literally “in touch” with your target medical offices.
